Car of the Month: MKIV of all MKIV’s
This must be one of the most respected and loved GTI’s in Canada! It’s low, it’s clean, it’s unique and it’s owned by a … LADY!
Here is what CJ told us about her car:
“The GTi has changed quite a bit in the 4 years I have owned it. At first I wanted to keep the car mildly lowered and go balls out on power. Started buying parts to go FI and then this nice “Street Racer” law was instated and I said screw this, no point to having a High Powered car with that law in effect. So plans changed quickly afterwards. Sold those parts I had bought for more aesthetic looking parts. About 90% of the mods were installed by myself, some of the bigger jobs with the help of friends and my forever supporting boyfriend Marc. I love installing stuff on the GTi, it passes time and keeps me out of trouble. When there is something I cant do myself, the work gets done at Advance Autowerks. Any paint work was done somewhere locally.
There will be a few subtle changes to the the GTi for 2011, but will be keeping those changes on the DL for now. :)”

When I first watched this video I could not believe the event took place in Poland… We don’t often hear of modified dubs from over there… but then, we live in North America and don’t hear much from anywhere! It is now my goal to attend the show in 2011!!! The film is real fresh, it was uploaded only 2 days ago! For now, enjoy this amazing video from Vag Event 2010!

If you would like to join, you need to get in touch with the OrangeBall crew @ OrangeBallRally.com. Please remember, this is not a race but a rally.
There is a 5$ discount for the Waterfest tickets for every member of the iHeartEuro crew (and remember, we welcome everyone and there is no fee to be a member of iHeartEuro). Check out this post on the forum to get more details about getting your discount! $5 isn’t a tremendous amount but as B. Franklin once said; “a penny saved is a penny earned”.

Cruise to Gumball 3000 in Quebec City
Dennis and I decided to join the local BMW club and drive some 200km to Quebec city where Gumball 3000 Rally was stopping for the night. For most part the weather was nice and Dennis managed to get some great shots. It seems like the Surete du Quebec Highway Patrol were ready for the participants of Gumball Rally and set up speed traps every few kilometers of the road… yes, you got it right, we had no choice as to cruise slowly, not passing 120km/h.

You can see lots of other amazing shots on the forum: Gumball 3000 Quebec City Cruise
In a few days we should we able to post all the photos of actual GUMBALL 3000 participants and maybe we’ll even get the chance to edit the video footage
You can also visit our friends @ www.FuelRiders.com for lots of outstanding pictures from this event!
